WHAT IS MIND THE REDD FISHING™?
Mindtheredd® is movement to raise awareness about wild fish reproduction and encourage consideration for when to watch a step and hold a cast. The goal is to minimize angler impact to redds (fish nests) and actively spawning fish. Mindtheredd hopes to inspire careful step and conscientious casts, while spreading of a positive message of stewardship through art, media, information, and culture. To promote appreciative understanding, engage in respectful dialogue, and consider unique situations beyond the regulations in the spirit of care for wild fish is what it means to #mindtheredd.
